If you want to sell your coloring book, but don't want to pay for a print on demand service, this post is for you. I've successfully used these products to make over 100 coloring books, so you could say they've been tested quite a bit.

Step 1: Print
Print your pages at home or an office store. Use cardstock paper. If your printer can't handle cardstock, I'd recommend getting them printed at Staples.

Step 2: Cut your Pages (If Necessary)
If your coloring books won't be the same size as your paper, cut them. I'd recommend this paper cutter.
Step 3: Hole Punch your Pages
You can either do this with a ruler and a hole punch or use a binding machine (the one I linked also comes with coils).

Using a Binding Machine
Note: A spiral binding machine is essentially a glorified hole punch, but it's much more efficient than punching each hole by hand for each piece of paper
Step 4: Wind the Coils Through your Punches
You'll take the spiral coils and wind them through each hole in your pages either manually or with the binding machine's electrical binding function (if it has one).

Step 5: Cut and Bend the Coil
After you wind the coil all the way through, you'll trim it and bend each end slightly inward so that when you pull the pages up they can't come out of the coil.
And that's it! Here's a short video with a bit more visuals if you're also more of a visual learner.
